ight and color are inseparably connected parts of the same phenomena. Yet appearance is primarily a counterintuitive manifestation of energy not matter. We do not see objects, but rather respond to radiation distributions interacting with objects. Considered from this perspective, even if representational, our visual response is abstract and distinctly separate from matter.
