O ne version of the metaphysical philosophy known as Nominalism denies the existence of abstract objects–objects that do not exist in space and time. This concept questions objects of thought, those tangible products apprehended intellectually. Abstract thinkers can evaluate observations, considering attributes and relationships separate from specific objects that exhibit those attributes or relationships. Abstract thought is thinking that is coherent and logical.

“Entities must not be multiplied beyond necessity. - William of Ockham
