A human fabrication based on the outcome of a creative act defines art. Acts of creating involve three interrelated components: the environment (external sensation source), thought processes (internal perception), and cultural heritage (knowledge). All of these three components evolve over time, especially as human societies respond to the advancement of accumulated knowledge. The rate of change in a wide variety of evolutionary systems, including but not limited to knowledge growth, tends to increase exponentially.

“Even by common wisdom, there seem to be both people and objects in my dream that are outside myself, but clearly they were created in myself and are part of me, they are mental constructs in my own brain.” - Ray Kurzweil
