Ouroboros | Self-reflexive Eternal return Bends back on |
A
ctions of observers in a perceptual system can affect the very circumstances they are observing. In other words, observations are dependent on the participation of the observer. This concept sometimes becomes blatantly obvious when exploring the universe of visual stimulation, especially when encountering a double reflection. Some object surfaces will reflect the energy that has already been reflected off other objects in a way that preserves much of original quality of the first reflection. Energy and concepts both bending back on themselves can allow specific fields of research to elucidate other research fields in an overall self-reflective process.
“By three methods we may learn wisdom: first, by reflection, which is noblest; second, by imitation, which is easiest; and third, by experience, which is the most bitter.” - Confucius
