rticulation of objectivity, reality is the state of things as they actually exist. As you may know, postmodernism rejects science and claims reality is only a social construct. Therefore, it logically follows that on the billions and billions of planets in the universe that do not support life, much less a society, there is no reality. Primarily perpetuated by those academically trained in the humanities, seems to me that postmodernism is mostly a self-serving ideological fad. It will pass. In fact, historically some philosophers have considered reality to include nonexistent things. Communication becomes confused when word definitions fluctuate.
