Considered as a way of seeing and then responding to possibilities based on visual appearance of energy interaction with matter, optical systems can be extended beyond expectation. This reinterpretation of physical systems can be more than simply a refusal of reality, but rather one iteration of many simultaneous alternative realities. Perhaps better described, one reality has many different manifestations, many of which are conventionally unavailable.
