radually I have begun to feel a need to scale back effort and scope. Being overly conscientious in certain circumstances has recently led to work resulting in less than successful results. Thus I am thinking of selecting a single topic and working on it longer than is my normal custom to the exclusion of all other interests. In addition, it might be interesting to barely meet deadlines rather than always being prepared.
