n the ride from the airport to the hotel, the cabdriver waxed poetic about the unique greatness of Primanti Brothers sandwiches, an historic Pittsburg institution. Consisting of grilled meat, cole slaw, tomato slices, and fried potatoes between two slices of Italian bread, the complete meal was originally designed to be eaten with one hand, while a trucker was driving his truck. They must have had very large hands. Feeling compelled to get the full local experience, it turned out that the photographic opportunity was better than the food.
