his abstract landscape is from my “Leveraging the Archive” series, part of the studio work produced this semester for my MFA effort. Primarily addressing questions of post-processing relative to photographic appearance expectations, this specific rendering is assembled from every image I posted in January. Using smart object technology, a stacked mean averaging algorithm produces a complex layering of meaning extracted from the image stream of consciousness. It has that mysterious atmospheric ambience of another time and place - experienced but intangible.
