T he sky is the limit. Generally, I work with stars in the cold but clear winter months, when the night starts sooner and lasts longer. However, the predication of a meteor shower last Friday had me out late at Maple Leaf Lake looking up. I did not see a single meteoroid entering the atmosphere, but did make this successful image from an exposure set that began before sunset and lasted several hours. Such a result encourages more warm weather night engagements, next time better prepared with insect repellent.

“If you shoot for the stars and hit the moon, it's OK. But you've got to shoot for something. A lot of people don't even shoot.” - Confucius
