reativity is enjoyable. Working on art in my backyard over the last week with a variety of different macro lenses has been a blast. As a cognitive approach to this effort, I am exploring merging two art movement concepts as pathways to experience “expressive impressions.” Expressionism and impressionism often are characterized as diametric opposites. At the very least, they are positioned on two ends of a modern artistic spectrum. Coming full circle, here they blend into a single statement, emphasizing fleeting perception used to express emotion.
