y the beginning of the 20th century, photographers functioned in a multifaceted environment of thoughts and activities. In fact, throughout history photography has undergone continuous change and diversity in method and intent. Although the result is an extensive multiplicity of images and concerns, a commonly held belief is that all photographs are similar and originate from analogous motivations. This view, still widespread today, is a fabrication.
