esterday the sun came out and I had about an hour in the late afternoon between scheduled activities to go for a walk. Mostly I photographed architectural details brightly illuminated in the snow and ice. But a lone Birch tree trunk was the most interesting capture of the of the episode. Now I need to go back looking for more examples to further explore this potential.
