andering around Burlington, I still think about the significant question raised in one of my critiques, specifically what is a photograph supposed to look like? Drawn to this visual observation by the sky reflecting in the window grid of a tidy urban scene, I compose a quick capture and release the shutter. Speculating on the extent that a theoretical appearance inquiry will affect my artistic product, a willingness to embrace change is generally advantageous. I have noticed that since actively attempting to shift into a “Disaffected Dimension” in my creative process, image postings on the various public forums in which I participate have become decidedly less popular. In fact on the fototalk.com site, for the first time during my engagement, submitted images are being removed as unworthy efforts. This is a very interesting development.
