Pipe Organ

   Multiple ranks
Pressurized air
Tonal integrity

W ithin College Hall is the Chapel, a locus of activity as participants scurry back and forth from significant gatherings. When first encountered, this huge musical instrument dominates the space, echoing the institution's historical legacy. Over time with repeated exposure, it fades into the background. Allegedly still functional, I have yet to hear its voice.

“Everywhere in the modern world there is neglect, the need to be recognized, which is not satisfied. Art is a way of recognizing oneself, which is why it will always be modern. - Louise Bourgeois
