During this excursion, I was actively engaged in considering the “anti-archive” and its implications. The notion of making and collecting awful images as a way to move out of a comfort zone seems inherently non-productive. Perhaps better measured, the “anti-archive” can simply be an alternate aesthetic approach that presents the less familiar. But wait, I have already been doing that for years.
