eality is what it is regardless of appearance and images therefore cannot produce distortions. When we look at any object, we do not see the object. What we see is radiation of specific wavelengths reflecting off the object in varying intensities. The disposition of the light is more important than the personality of the reflecting article. Modify the character of the light and the appearance of matter is changed. A photographic rendering interpreting transient radiation interactions is obviously not reality. Any image is nothing more than an image.
