his small abandoned house finds itself in front of my lens frequently, especially in the late afternoon and early evening. The low sun tends to spotlight the dwelling, creating irresistible illumination patterns from across an open field on my walks home from work. Although the structure continues to deteriorate, this neglect does not adversely affect its visual potential. I cannot say the same relative to the negative consequence on neighborhood property values.
