n initial arrival at Pape Lake, the light was marvelous and I immediately began making "ambientambulations" with my Olympus 28mm f3.5 lens. Selecting a promising subject and establishing a propitious directional vector, I decided to make a series of exposure brackets for HDR. Things were going along splendidly until a cloudbank suddenly rolled in, necessitating a change in action. Conditions were not better or worse, just different. Adaptation is one of the keys to success.
