pportunity sometimes presents itself at odd circumstance. On the way to an evening photographic activity, we decided hot coffee would nicely preface the event. Quickly placing our order in the Mickey D's drive-thru, we received instructions to advance ahead to the side door and wait for our desired beverages. And wait we did, for an extended period, as perhaps they were drilling the well for the required water. As time wore on, I began to occupy myself by making long exposure captures of the fast-food slow-drink structure. My interest was in the shapes and colors as defined by the reflections of the environment, while the sun was fading fast.
