   Philosophical puzzle
Contemplating mysteries
Purgative effect

G eometric abstraction has existed among many cultures throughout history, both as decorative motifs and as individualized art units. Wassily Kandinsky, Kasimir Malevich and Piet Mondrian are all well-known 20th century avant-garde artists who embraced this approach. Addressing the inherently two dimensional nature of the picture plane as well as how space can be precisely fractured, these geometric patterns act to visually connect art with science. As technology advances, geometric artwork styling's become more symbolic of methodological concepts ranging from physical space organization to large-scale intelligent node structures. The styles that evolve are direct representations of the cultures that spawned them.
