ircles of confusion. When I give a shooting assignment in one of my classes, it often stimulates me to also work in the same vein. Therefore, here presented is an image made while exploring good “bokeh” on a gorgeous afternoon at Knob Knoster State Park. Using my vintage Olympus 55mm f1.2 lens wide open and focused close, I isolated these backlit grass seed heads against a vague swirl of silky-soft background impressionism. Constantly evolving with active artistic engagement, subtle significance in the environmental surrounding can be allegorical.
