old minimalism defined by pure light and shadow, energy primarily realized through the senses rather than by intuition or reasoning. Every so often you don't really know what you have accomplished until a period of time has elapsed between capture and evaluation. Then suddenly a specific image might stand out as a distinct variation from the customary work. Perhaps marking a new creative direction, I am relatively satisfied with this simple abstraction. Was the circumstance producing this rendering an isolated episode or will such visual phenomenon now become perceptually prevalent? Only time will tell.
