Recalling experience

A s part of the process of reorganizing all my digital image assets, I come across interesting old work never previously processed into a satisfying finished product. Here is one from a trip to Denver captured several years ago. It is fascinating to contemplate why such images were left unrealized. Perhaps it was simply a matter of volume, too many images and too little time. Or it could be changing aesthetic orientation, a tendency of thought dictating idiom curiosity. Whatever the reason, undoubtedly the treatment effected now is different than it would have been closer to capture proximity. Time marches on but the image stream will leave bread crumbs behind.

“Future orientation is combined with a notion and expectation of progress, and nothing is impossible.” - Alan Dundes
