fter eight years of active visual exploration of my local area, it comes as a pleasant surprise when I find a new photographic venue. Such was the case on a cloudy wet Friday, as I traveled on old route 13 north of town and found an abandoned bridge covered with years of graffiti. Using my new Olympus OM 50mm f3.5 macro lens, more images are added to the “Macrostract” project. I really like how the large rounded rivets are rendered. For some reason, the experience made me think of Blue Cheer's debut LP released in 1968, now considered the first heavy metal album.

And past confusion
Is quickly calling
Yeah, all of my illusions” - Dickie Peterson
