here is something hypnotic that can transpire when viewing minimalistic artworks. The experience is not so much an induced sleep, but rather a spellbinding trancelike concentration. Although possibly an acquired taste, I find working in this modality to be both a creative challenge and a deeply satisfying process. Extreme simplification of abstract form reduces subjects down to the barest essentials.
