s fresh young leaves rapidly appear across the spring countryside, I found these old leaves ensconced in a small creek to be visually attractive. The muted and mottled colors are indicative of continuity succession: the cycle of life. The image is a composite, with one image focused on the leaves and the other focused on the water surface reflections.
“Continuous eloquence wearies. Grandeur must be abandoned to be appreciated. Continuity in everything is unpleasant. Cold is agreeable, that we may get warm.” - Blaise Pascal
