astel colors on a mostly cloudy afternoon at the Kearn Memorial Wildlife Area are here revealed through an "ambientambulation". This was one of those outings when things did not visually click, and I felt out of creative touch. Occasionally this happens, and making images is a bit of a struggle with a lack of confidence in the value of the results. The problem is primarily one of internal orientation rather than external contingencies. I have discovered, therefore, the best way to cope is to accept the mood and soldier on. Something worthy may transpire.
