fter a long winter of photographing mostly local venues, today marks the start of a trip back out into the Flint Hills of Kansas. It will be interesting to see how my technical and aesthetic approach has evolved since my last visit, which was about one year ago. Certainly I have recently been very focused on the landscape, as evidenced by this shot made at Hazel Hill Lake, a concentration which should inform and influence the creative direction over the next few days. I am really looking forward to being out on the prairie frontier this afternoon.
