wo days of hiking in the Flint Hills, first at the Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve, and then at the Konza Prairie Research Natural Area, has left me a little tired but exhilarated. I sure do find Kansas irresistible, and these two locations are particularly magical, each in its own unique manner. Although only three hours by interstate highway from Warrensburg, the Flint Hills feel like another world, both in time and space. As I process captures from the excursion, they will intertwine into the latentsifier image stream of consciousness.
