N octurnal camera work is most enjoyable, especially as it is eschewed by many photographers. Although always operative under low illumination, some nights are relatively bright, especially in the cold when the atmosphere is clear and the moon is full. The combinations of subject, lighting and composition are distinctly different than what is presented during the day, and there is something about executing long exposures which is especially satisfying.

“The night walked down the sky with the moon in her hand.” - Frederick L. Knowles
