n the Maguire Street pedestrian overpass, tall iron bars line each side of the passage to prevent an unfortunate tumble to the pavement below. Although I have traversed the crossing on many occasions, this is the first time I tried to make an abstract image by shooting through the bars while panning the camera vertically. This abstract image result is encouraging, and now I have to further develop the idea under different conditions and with different optics. Suddenly something familiar becomes efficacious.
