have been thinking about initiating a new creative visual project in the spring comprised of macro abstract expressions. Moving slowly in this direction, observing smaller things close-up is creeping into awareness. Today's image is not quite there yet, as technically a macro shot is defined as a magnification ratio of at least 1:1. This means the image projected on the "focal plane" is the same size or larger than the subject. Operating simultaneously across scale dimensions, by shifting from the narrow immediate to the far infinite, such an effort might stimulate fresh cognitive processes and inform perception. We shall see.
