L ight and shadow surface phase change reflectivity attenuation. Over the course of about thirty minutes, the ambient radiation conditions playing across Hazel Hill Lake were wonderful. Shifting soft pink and pale blue colors performed in concert as they generated fascinating patterns on the textured granulated ice surface. Then they were gone, as thicker cloud layers filled the sky. Winter is subtle but ever varying as new environmental circumstances result from planetary axis tilt.
