Bright Night | Matter influenced Richly colored Malleable light |

rriving long after full darkness descended, we were surprised to find the gate to our Pape Lake parking area was closed. Mildly irritating, we had to park farther away and hike in to the designated photographic venue. As it was about 18 degrees Fahrenheit, we first donned our arctic attire, thus increasing the physical effort of walking through the snow. But the exertion was well rewarded, as the snow cover made for excellent lighting conditions, offering a smorgasbord of interesting image capture opportunities. This composition was the first shot of the incident, and in my estimation is relatively effective.
