arnessing curiosity. I am always searching for knowledge and use photography as a means for a systematic investigation of my surrounds. Such research augments my understanding of the nature and properties of the external world as interpreted by my internal cognition. This activity is a kind of primary research which involves the collection of new data. This field research is much more productive when supported by extensive secondary research which involves broadly and deeply searching the storehouse of recorded human knowledge. When I was young I spent many hours in the library, absorbing concepts and ideas from the pages of books. Now the internet provides faster access to even more information, which is expanding at an exponential rate. One of the wonderful characteristics of photography is that everything learned is applicable. Meanwhile the earth continues to spin about its axis while orbiting the sun as the solar system drifts through the Milky Way.
