onstant motion. Meanwhile playgrounds remain empty yet resonant under the stars at night. As I continue to work on this project, I have discovered that many designated playgrounds are difficult to access. Contained by intricate fences, locked gates, and threatening signs, some of these spaces are apparently exclusive. Of course I cannot allow such devices to dampen my enthusiasm, and must find ways to overcome these unfortunate obstacles. Scouting the locations during the day to establish tactical approach strategies is now an essential component of the effort. Under the cover of darkness, perhaps my on-location presence will remain undetected. But nevertheless, I expect at some future point to be accosted during my harmless documentary activities by a self-appointed authority, demanding to know what I am doing. This is not easy to explain, as most commoners have difficulty understanding artistic motivation.
