rriving on location late in the day, with an upcoming episode of night photography looming, it is constructive to limber-up and stretch the creative muscles. Shifting into a mental framework of visual awareness, I like to walk around the venue looking for viewpoints not previously exploited. Although by now I should not be surprised, it is still amazing how much remains available from very familiar places. Recognizing potential is the creative spark used as a source of excitation. Tool-set proficiency provides the means to transform the perception into a permanent record. As night falls I like to be in the groove.
