etting up the camera and tripod in a propitious position to observe and record the transitional day/night boundary movement is exhilarating. In this installation, I made a series of exposures over time as the action progressed, and combined the multiple capture results into one image. Some of the exposures were made with neutral density filters, allowing the clouds to softly “paint” across the sky. During the course of the proceedings, a weak flash was fired several times illuminating the fine grasses at the right to balance some of the exposures. This concept of making a time-lapse single image is worthy of further development.
