electing which of the many possible actions to record constitutes adaptation to the intrinsic need to visually create. The drive to make images is part of an immortal living spirit which resides in the artist instinctively. This inherent motivation sensitizes the self to circumstances and information relating to that motive: a photographer, for example, will perceive visual stimuli as more ponderous than other stimuli. From my perspective, the entire universe is a support system providing an abundance of raw material. My desire is to select favorable substance and fashion it into worthy statements, exploring the fundamental issues of what, how and why does anything exist.
