n a quick little trip to Hazel Hill Lake on a very gray day, I scouted the location as a possible venue for night photography. Looking about, no artificial light sources could be found, indicating positive nighttime potential. Since I was there, I decided to break out the camera gear and practice the discipline under current but seemingly unfavorable conditions. Always interested to find new ways to render the familiar, and to further my many concurrent imaging projects, I reinterpreted the pontoon fishing dock. Creating this evocative atmospheric work, I am again reminded of how much creative opportunity is limited by internal orientation.
