ime out of mind. Including a fellow human ambulating as part of the visual dialog in an “ambientAmbulation” capture seemed an appropriate expansion of the genre. My good friend Tom was willing to participate in the performance, although unaware of the exposure implementation. Sauntering over rough hills and through overgrown fields on a glorious fall day in rural Missouri, life is exceptionally excellent. Walking is one way to slow down the fast-paced world of modern civilization and allow for more thoughtful observation of visual stimulus. And the ten-stop neutral density filter also functions to slow down the influx of actinic radiation, allowing an impression to build slowly over time.
“I think that I cannot preserve my health and spirits, unless I spend four hours a day at least - and it is commonly more than that - sauntering through the woods and over the hills and fields, absolutely free from all worldly engagements.” - Henry David Thoreau
