Successive stages

D ifferent day, same location, poles apart. Usually with pier encounters, I “ambientambulate” out towards the water body as this vector offers the most promising radiation patterns. But on this occasion, in the spirit of speculative visual exploration, I made an exposure moving back towards the shore. Somewhat surprised at the effectiveness of the result, on subsequent pier performances I must remember to value both distance-dependent directional relationships. Progress between two points in space specifies the angular positional radiation smear effect defining the aesthetic of this image series.

“Remember this, that there is a proper value and proportion to be observed in the performance of every act.” - Marcus Aurelius
