hen photographing at night things elegantly slow down. Low illumination requires long exposures, opening up protracted waiting periods to contemplate the surrounding environmental nuances. Relatively few images can be realized during each outing and much time is devoted to the effort. Persistence and delayed gratification are imperative. The creative rewards are significant, however, as innovative images of an entirely transformed reality are obtainable. Small things hardly perceived become magnified. Wonderful photographic experiences are available 24/7 year-round.
“Light glorifies everything. It transforms and ennobles the most commonplace and ordinary subjects. The object is nothing, light is everything.” - Leonard Missone
