uring the course of a work day, it is nice to take a break and walk outside to make some photographs. Up from my desk and out the door, the exterior world is industriously progressing. An advantage of employment at UCM is the immediate proximity of picturesque surroundings including magnificent old sandstone buildings in a well landscaped setting. At the tail end of autumn, enough fall color still is present for creating an effective “ambientAmbulation” dreamscape. As I engage in this environmental dance, other members of the campus community seem perplexed by the performance. As all artists know, sometimes it is constructive to challenge the audience.
