n the first Fair episode, I brought two zoom lenses and my pinhole turret. Arriving at the scene around 5:30 pm, the sun was bright but already low in the sky. To get things off to a good inspired start, I began shooting handheld with the turret, rotating to different optics while moving through the crowd. The inherent softness of the zoneplate is here coupled with some associated blur of camera and subject movement. With practice, lensless photography is capable of recording the ethereal world of phantasm visitations.
