ssociation by contiguity. A little later and shot from the opposite side, the sky is darker and the Ferris lights are brighter. The image stream of consciousness must be rooted in the temporal. Balancing the natural but rapidly fading sunlight with the artificially generated radiation is part of the sport here. Employing tighter cropping on the gyration disk, once again I made a series of exposures for HDR processing. This time the foreground ghosts of those passing-by are less distinct due to the longer exposures involved. With these spinning wheel images, I address the concept of non sequitur ritualized compulsions and the authenticity of human emotional experience.
