ppearance of spontaneity. Working with the pinhole turret, I shot a batch of midway images using my “pinring” optic. I really appreciate this radiation modifier, both because of its originality and how it renders beautiful impressionistic abstractions. The resulting image has the look and feel of one made with a defocused catadioptric lens, but at a wide focal length. Especially well suited for carnival color and space constraints, the circular highlight details comport with the ambient environment.
