emory of an unconscious daydream. An intervening episode, here the smokestack near my home is revisited, probably not for the last time. This effort is an exercise in visualizing an illusion by experiencing for the first time something that actually has been previously experienced – a reverse dé·jà vu. Reaching back into my bag of imaging techniques, I made multiple exposures from slightly divergent viewpoints, and used high dynamic range processing to assemble this result. It is good to have conceptual bridges to somewhere.
