isual containment. As my summer official ends this weekend, I suspect a shift in creative enterprise is eminent. But still I have many action blurs leftover to process. Shooting these “drive-by” motion blurs has developed into a more predictable experience, as each episode builds on previous results. After much experimentation, I have settled on the Zeiss 45mm f2.8 Tessar lens as the best optic for these efforts. Because it is so small, it produces unique radiation smears when articulated across the energy field. Something about the short distance between the front element and the focal plane seems to be significant.
